My wife was just released from Hospital with COPD, and it was a shock to learn that she would have to be on Oxygen 24 hours a day. This meant we had to purchase a Mobility Scooter. I had been putting off purchasing a scooter for years, as I needed one with my disability, but tried to manage with a walking stick, I looked online and found Quingo 5 wheel Scooters, I contacted the firm, and they sent a Mobility Advisor to me the following day, he had about 10 different Scooters of all sizes and suggested the Quingo Ultra. Both my wife and I then tried it out and it was perfect for both of us. He then showed me how to take it apart, and rebuild it. We were both thrilled and ordered and paid for the machine there and then. The man was very helpful and arranged for it to be delivered in 2 days. He was as good as his word.
Two days later another Mobility Advisor arrived at my home and delivered the Scooter. He insisted that both my wife and I demonstrate that we could ride the machine, and then showed us again how to dismantle, and then loaded it into the boot of my car. Both men were very polite and pleasant, I can’t thank them enough.
I would like to add that The Quingo Ultra is a very nice looking machine, and has enabled my wife to go around B&Q without assistance. She is now looking forward to some warm weather so that she can have some confidence to go out again. It’s exactly what we needed. It’s strong, solid, and safe to use. I am 77 years old, and my wife is 75. Being that it has five wheels, it always has 4 wheels in contact with the floor. In order to stop it, all my wife has to do is let go of the paddle or use the hand brake. My wife loves it, that’s good enough for me.

I needed advice before buying my mobility scooter, plus the chance to be able to test different models to choose what fit me best. I am left-handed and I suffer from arthritis. During the test drive, I found out I could have the controls moved to my left-hand side, which is so helpful! I had an excellent member of staff on my test drive who explained everything but did not push me into anything.
